marks the end of the season
for most of Sussex
University’s sports teams, and as
usual there will be a mighty scrap
either to gain promotion or avoid
relegation.
Among some of the more succesful
Sussex teams is the mens Badminton
first team. Top of their league with just
a game to play, the guys will have
played the crucial match at home to
Essex, who lie just three points behind
with a game in hand.
Should Sussex have emerged victorious
from the clash, the BUSA South
Eastern Badminton Mens 1sts 3A plate
and promotion will be theirs.
However, should they lose, Sussex’s
position will be in jeopardy. Essex play
Kings, the only other team fighting for
promotion, on the last day of the season.
A victory for Kings could mean
that Sussex miss out on the top two
places.
